The session

Sessions are easy and go at baby's pace. We stop to feed, soothe, change and nurse and these moments are all expected and become part of the session. You are also free to take a break, if needed at any time. The session shouldn't feel stressful. You have just had a baby, and are likely exhausted so sessions do not take all day, I will be with you about an hour, perhaps a little longer if baby stops for a few feeds. We only use a few spots in the home to keep any prep minimal and easy for the family. Sessions typically include a variety of individuals of the new baby, each parent with baby, siblings and baby, as well as family photos, candid moments and creative photos inspired during your session. Every session is different but unique to you, so feel free to let me know if you are wanting more or less of something.

To make your family feel at ease so you can relax, be yourselves and I can capture the REAL you. Your personalities, emotions and connections.  I believe a beautiful photo should portray much more than just a smile at the camera and should capture your life at this special time. These are the memories and feelings we want to keep forever in our family photos and what makes your photos unique to you.

Baby leads the way in newborn sessions...

There is always time to stop for whatever baby needs - no rush - we work the session around whatever keeps your new baby comfortable.

 

What's included?

All-Inclusive Sessions include all your images from the session, a minimum of 60 hand-edited digital images delivered in both color and black & white within 2 weeks (usually a lot more!). Photos will be presented by online gallery available for 30 days to enjoy, share and download to your device(s). A variety of boutique printing products are also available as an optional extra, but feel free to use your own provider if you would prefer.
